AquAid (North) continued their fund raising efforts in 2015 for projects in third world countries. In the last year we have donated £44,341 to charity.

AquAid supply an extensive range of water coolers, dispensers and instant water boilers along with bottled mineral water. Each bottle of water includes a donation, of 40p, to Christian Aid and The Africa Trust in addition to this contributions are given from each cooler unit placed within local businesses, schools and organisations.

The 2015 donations are in addition to money raised over the last 15 years, since the business started trading locally.

AquAid (North) director Dale Heslop said; “We are exceptionally pleased with the amount raised in 2015 which would not have been possible without the support of the clients we work with. By using our services and consuming our water everyone helps make a difference and ensure people in third world countries have access to clean water for drinking, cooking and washing. Everyone, wherever they are, should keep adequately hydrated as it has recognised benefits to both health and personal performance. To help enable this in Africa it is important we continue our charity efforts in 2016 and we thank our clients in advance for the help they give by using AquAid.”

Operations manager, David Henderson added that; “Every water cooler we install raises enough money to bring two children water for the rest of their lives. We are proud of our association with Christian Aid and The Africa Trust. Our clients, by using ourselves, continue to support these important projects.”
